The study of the presence of short comic poems in Romance Medieval songbooks (and particularly in Provençal and Italian manuscripts) allows to recognize some constant factors that pertain to the domain of interdiscursivity. These elements do not concern only thematic aspects, but also the disposition and the paratextual properties of poetic items within the songbooks: the internal organization of sections that collect comic poetry is actually established to highlight diversified connections between comic texts themselves, but also between comic poems and texts belonging to other genres transcribed in the same section of the manuscripts. This analysis makes it possible to study the Medieval perception of comic poetry in the context of its transmission, and in its constant dialogue with the courtly tradition

Abstract
The study of the presence of short comic poems in Romance Medieval songbooks (and particularly in Provençal and Italian manuscripts) allows to recognize some constant factors that pertain to the domain of interdiscursivity. These elements do not concern only thematic aspects, but also the disposition and the paratextual properties of poetic items within the songbooks: the internal organization of sections that collect comic poetry is actually established to highlight diversified connections between comic texts themselves, but also between comic poems and texts belonging to other genres transcribed in the same section of the manuscripts.
