The aim of this study was to investigate which characteristics of the animals and of the techinque influenced the embryo collection and Conception Rate (CR) in a commercial embryo transfer program. Data from 4 consecutive years (1871 transfers) were statistically analyzed. The day of cycle when the superovulatory treatment was started, the breed and the age of the donor, and the season, had significant effect (p<0.05) on the number ofcollected embryos. The quality of the emryo (p<0.0001), the age of recipient (p<0.0001), the depth of the transfer (p<0.001) and the absence of trauma (p<0.0001) and the side of the ransfer (p<0.005), had significanr affect on CR:

Abstract
The aim of this study was to investigate which characteristics of the animals and of the techinque influenced the embryo collection and Conception Rate (CR) in a commercial embryo transfer program. Data from 4 consecutive years (1871 transfers) were statistically analyzed. The day of cycle when the superovulatory treatment was started, the breed and the age of the donor, and the season, had significant effect (p<0.05) on the number ofcollected embryos. The quality of the emryo (p<0.0001), the age of recipient (p<0.0001), the depth of the transfer (p<0.001) and the absence of trauma (p<0.0001) and the side of the ransfer (p<0.005), had significanr affect on CR:Pubblicazioni consigliate
