Sentimento religioso e libertà di satira : riflessioni a partire da Charlie Hebdo. La pubblicazione delle dodici vignette satiriche sull’Islam costituisce reato (in Italia)?

The publication on Jyllands-Posten and Charlie Hebdo of the satiric Muhammad cartoons has led to criminal procedures against the editors in chief of the two periodicals, respectively, in Denmark and in France. The Danish action has never reached the trial, instead in France the editor of Charlie Hebdo was absolved of all charges. In Italy, instead, a criminal procedure was never started. The author of the present paper analyses and explains the reasons why the publication of the cartoons is not relevant for the Italian criminal law.
