The role of superfluidity on the symmetry energy and on the incompressibility is studied in nuclear matter and finite nuclei employing Hartree-Fock-Bogoliubov modeling based on several types of pairing interactions (surface, mixed and isovector-density dependent). It is observed that, while pairing has only a marginal effect on the symmetry energy and on the incompressibility at saturation density, the effects are significantly larger at lower densities.

Abstract
The role of superfluidity on the symmetry energy and on the incompressibility is studied in nuclear matter and finite nuclei employing Hartree-Fock-Bogoliubov modeling based on several types of pairing interactions (surface, mixed and isovector-density dependent). It is observed that, while pairing has only a marginal effect on the symmetry energy and on the incompressibility at saturation density, the effects are significantly larger at lower densities.File | Dimensione | Formato | |
