Our preliminary research showed that cTnI is not correlated with age, sex and weight, but with an increased ESVI (index of a deficit in contractility) and EDVI (index of volume over-load); the variability of the enzyme in ISACHC classification needs to be study more; cTnI level appears interesting in examining the follow-up of patient with cardiac disease, especially cardiomyopathy.
