The importance of MS Nottingham, UL, WLC/LM/6 in Old French literary tradition has been underlined by a number of studies. Nevertheless, some questions about the production and the interpretation of this recueil have not received a satisfactory answer. This contribution focuses on a new investigation of the scribes’ hands, the mise en page and the structure of the codex. The authors also aim to provide new elements which could help dating the volume and understanding the context in which it was produced.
