The purpose of the present study was to evaluate the differences between the traditional radiographic approach and the actual anatomy of the canals in pluriradiculated teeth and the continuous funnel taper of the root canals. These new data could be useful for the clinician in the treatment planning, particularly in the cleaning, shaping and filling of the endodontic system.
