A review of the literature did not reveal a treatment description for this problem. Stoma of excessive size do not cause significant clinical consequences but may interfere severely with patient's quality of life since in this case voice restoration was a primary necessity. The poor vascularization of the region together with the marked concavity in addition to the patient's diabetes were the major problems. The technique we described show little surgical as well as postoperative difficulties and functional result was optimal.1-5.
