This research focuses on the picture gallery that was in Palazzo Litta Visconti Arese in Milan until the end of the nineteenth century. It has been possible to research the collection of paintings through a series of unpublished inventories, dating from the seventeenth to the nineteenth century. It has been attempted to build a proper catalogue of the collection before its dispersion.
