We read with interest the article by Kent and colleagues about sublobar resection efficacy in non-small cell lung cancer. It is intended to verify that locoregional recurrence is lower after segmentectomy than after wedge resection. The authors used the population of the ACOSG Z4032 trial to compare these techniques concerning operative approach (open or video-assisted thoracic surgery [VATS]), margin, and lymph node yield.

Abstract
We read with interest the article by Kent and colleagues about sublobar resection efficacy in non-small cell lung cancer. It is intended to verify that locoregional recurrence is lower after segmentectomy than after wedge resection. The authors used the population of the ACOSG Z4032 trial to compare these techniques concerning operative approach (open or video-assisted thoracic surgery [VATS]), margin, and lymph node yield.File | Dimensione | Formato | |
