The present issue of the Journal of Neuroimmune Pharmacology (JNIP) contains abstracts for the Italian neuroimmune pharmacology (INIP) conference sponsored by SIF-Italian Society of Pharmacology ( http://www.sifweb.org/ ) scheduled for November 15th-16th 2013 at the University of Insubria of Varese (I). Beginning in 2010, the Italian Society of Pharmacology has supported conferences dedicated to relevant and timely topics of interest to young investigators engaged in pharmacology and therapeutic research. Our November 2013 is the first INIP conference, and it is organized through the Center for Research in Medical Pharmacology of the University of Insubria.
