In this work the Authors propose an alternative to the use of books (ancbored to residual natural elements) in the rehabilitation of distal saddles of partially edentulous jaws by removable dentures. This low cost solution is based on the use of dental implants as anchorage elements to improve the stability of distal extensions, thus avoiding damage to natural residual elements, and with results that are functional and aesthetically satisfactory.
