Abstract
In 1928 the Swiss art historian Heinrich Wölfflin published an article focusing on the inversion of slides during projections in art historical conferences and courses. Such an error reveals the syntactic, semantic, symbolic and pragmatics consequences of the lateral inversion. My paper expands on this issue, reflecting on the crucial implications of laterality in the iconic sphere.File in questo prodotto:
