Committenza pubblica e struttura d’offerta nel settore ortopedico e riabilitativo nella Regione Veneto

The intrinsic characteristics of the medical device sector, as well as the increasing role the latter is playing with regard to the health care policies, are leading to a strengthening of the device-related supply system and the adoption of a network-based approach that encompasses both the manufacturers and the institutional stakeholders accountable for the innovation, the competitiveness and the quality of the goods and services provided. Given the aforementioned framework, the current paper aims at analysing the relationship between industry providers and public purchasers with regard to the orthopaedics and rehabilitation medical device cluster. The overarching aim of the research is to promote systematic actions at the institutional level to foster the sustainable economic growth of the sector, vis a vis high qualitative standards of the health and social care assistance.
