L'autotrasfusione nelle artroprotesi d'anca e di ginocchio: nostre considerazioni

The purpose of the authors is transfusing major prosthetic surgery operated patients with their own blood. This research confirms the auto-transfusions efficacy as the most appropriate and less expensive method since it compensates intra and postsurgical blood losses during hip and knee operations; moreover, it has shown its strength in reducing homologous blood use avoiding all the unfavourable conditions concerning it.
