Abstract
There is some suggestion that cigarette smoking may be inversely related to the risk of benign breast disease (BBD), but published evidence is largerly inconsistent. We have examinated the issue using data from a case-control study conducted between 1981 and 1983 in northern Italy on 288 women with histologically confirmed BBD (age 17-64, median age 42, 85 benign tumor and 203 displastic lesion)and two groups of controls matched for age.Pubblicazioni consigliate
