In this paper, reported are results on the preparation of new amphiphilic oligomers of N-acryloylmorpholine (ACM) and N-vinylpyrrolidinone (VP) carrying terminal functions such as primary hydroxyl groups in the case of poly(N-vinyl pyrrolidinone) (PVP), and primary hydroxyl-, carboxyl-, and amino groups in the case of poly(N-acryloyl morpholine) (PACM). PVP is well known for its amphiphilic properties and lack of toxicity. PACM is also non-toxic and in a crosslinked form was used as support matrix for solid phase synthesis of peptides.

Abstract
In this paper, reported are results on the preparation of new amphiphilic oligomers of N-acryloylmorpholine (ACM) and N-vinylpyrrolidinone (VP) carrying terminal functions such as primary hydroxyl groups in the case of poly(N-vinyl pyrrolidinone) (PVP), and primary hydroxyl-, carboxyl-, and amino groups in the case of poly(N-acryloyl morpholine) (PACM). PVP is well known for its amphiphilic properties and lack of toxicity. PACM is also non-toxic and in a crosslinked form was used as support matrix for solid phase synthesis of peptides.Pubblicazioni consigliate
