Capacitances obtained by differentiation of experimental charge vs pH curves are presented for hematite suspensions both in NaClO4and in KNO3. The adsorption features of the two electrolytes are discussed comparing the variation of the experimental capacitance with that expected on the Stern - Gouy Chapman theory. © 1989.
