Abstract

Reaction of 3,4-disubstituted isoxazolin-5-ones with dimethyl acetylenedicarboxylate affords 2,2′,3,3′-tetra-hydro[2,2′-bi-1,3-oxazine]-6,6′-diones. A reaction path is proposed.
