Abstract
Crystal growth of metal tellurides and tellurometalates employing solvothermal reactions at temperatures below 200 degrees C have resulted in [La(ethylenediamine)(4)Cl]In2Te4 (1). Single crystal X-ray diffraction analyses show that 1 belongs to the tetragonal crystal system, space group I4 (No. 79) a=13.471(3), c=7.295(3) Angstrom, Z=2.1 is a Zintl compound containing one-dimensional polymeric chains of [GRAPHICS] built of InTe4 tetrahedra sharing opposite edges, and [La(en)(4)Cl](2+) (ethylenediamine=en) cations with regular monocapped square-antiprism nona-coordination.Pubblicazioni consigliate
