Redo coronary artery bypass grafting (CABG) represents an high-risk surgical procedure, because of an increased incidence of perioperative death, myocardial infarction and stroke. Theoretically, the avoidance of cardiopulmonary bypass may reduce surgical traumatism and ameliorate early results.
