Governing biodiversities in Agri-eco-cultural landscapes

The loss of biodiversity in agroecosystems is a very important problem in industrialized countries as well as in emergent ones. In Italy, 3 milions and 663.ooo hectares of soil have been cementified in last decades. In the urban sprawl, farmlands are progressively erased. The rich agrarian landscapes in the urban sprawl, become place without any sense.Any else action, for caring rural landscapes, biodiversities, agriculture or developing infrastructures, requires to be inserted into the ecosystem frame, looking at its capacity to offer services, also cultural, for human well-being. Landscape and biodiversities are effects of this frame. Connect with governance studies, the research tries to draw a framework for improving performance of biodiversities in agri-eco-cultural landscapes.
