The paper is focused on the principles on which the Bible's reading of Stéphane Mosès is grounded. First, it tries to summarize the author's contribution to the intelligence of the factors characterizing Jewish modernity: the relation between universal and particular, the distinction between "normative modernity" and "critical modernity". After, it applies these categories to the same work of Mosès, in particular to "L'eros et la loi". Finally, it focuses on the attention for language around which the biblical interpretation of Mosès pivots, as the example of the revelation of God's name in "Exodus" 3 shows.

Abstract
The paper is focused on the principles on which the Bible's reading of Stéphane Mosès is grounded. First, it tries to summarize the author's contribution to the intelligence of the factors characterizing Jewish modernity: the relation between universal and particular, the distinction between "normative modernity" and "critical modernity". After, it applies these categories to the same work of Mosès, in particular to "L'eros et la loi". Finally, it focuses on the attention for language around which the biblical interpretation of Mosès pivots, as the example of the revelation of God's name in "Exodus" 3 shows.Pubblicazioni consigliate
