The main goal of the work described in this paper was to implement a CHILL programming environment on an Intel iAPX 432 system. To this purpose, we first studied CHILL concurrency, i.e. the semantic of programming constructs allowing interaction among concurrent processes, and we tried to reproduce this semantic using i432 features related to multitasking. Possible solutions here proposed discuss problems related to differences between the CHILL language and the i432 philosophy.
