Vestibular syndrome consists of a wide range of neurological symptoms which may develop when a lesion of the vestibular system is present 6. This syndrome may be classified either as central disease when central nervous system is involved (bacterial abscesses, equine protozoal myeloencephalitis, polyneuritis, viral encephalitis, bacterial meningitis, aberrant parasite migration and neoplasia)3, 8; or as peripheral disease when a lesion of the temporal bone occurs (head trauma, bacterial or mycotic otitis media-interna, guttural pouch mycosis, aminoglycoside toxicity, neoplasla)5, 8. In this report a clinical case of vestibular syndrome is described. The incidence of this disease in the horse is as low as 0.6% 13 and only few cases are described in the literature 1, 2, 4, 11.

Abstract
The incidence of this disease in the horse is as low as 0.6% 13 and only few cases are described in the literature 1, 2, 4, 11.Pubblicazioni consigliate
