The effect of various treatment strategies on the Aspergillus and Penicillium species associated with the cv Primitivo carposphere was investigated for two consecutive years. The composition of the fungal population and the number of Colony Forming Units (CFUs) detected on clusters greatly varied from one year to another, due to the different climatic conditions. When applied in C and D, Switch and Scala significantly reduced the CFUs of A. carbonarius and the level of Ochratoxin A in comparison with the untreated plot, while Rovral did not affect both parameters.

Abstract
The effect of various treatment strategies on the Aspergillus and Penicillium species associated with the cv Primitivo carposphere was investigated for two consecutive years. The composition of the fungal population and the number of Colony Forming Units (CFUs) detected on clusters greatly varied from one year to another, due to the different climatic conditions. When applied in C and D, Switch and Scala significantly reduced the CFUs of A. carbonarius and the level of Ochratoxin A in comparison with the untreated plot, while Rovral did not affect both parameters.Pubblicazioni consigliate
