Francophonie et FLE, français langue étrangère ? Pour un atelier interactif sur la francophonie

This study is intended as a classroom activity on Francophonie in university education, specifically aimed at students who are approaching Francophonie for the first time. It is a proposal for a workshop in which students, once they got acquainted with the wide variety of regional French varieties, are guided by the teacher in exploring perceptions of French in former colonies where French is the official language. Fanon, Confiant and Mabanckou’s insights will be studied, along with a selection of online resources aimed at learning French as a foreign language. This will be followed by an analysis of literary texts.
