This paper provides an in-depth analysis of the regulation of telework in Germany. After supplying a brief overview of telework and its relevant legislation in Germany, the paper goes on to analyse the all-important role of works councils as well as that of work agreements, which are the most widespread tools to regulate this working scheme at the national level.
Il contributo approfondisce la disciplina giuslavoristica del telelavoro in Germania. Dopo un breve inquadramento della tematica e della normativa applicabile nel conte- sto tedesco, si concentra sul fondamentale ruolo dei consigli di fabbrica nella gestio- ne delle dinamiche relative all’implementazione del telelavoro e sui contenuti degli accordi aziendali, strumento principe di regolazione della fattispecie in Germania.
