We argue for an informational view of logic according to which reasoning phenomena are conceived as operations performed by embodied and situated agents. We maintain that such a view allows us to account naturally for the emergence of non-classical logics, logical pluralism and logical dynamics. Further, we discuss in broad terms a promising informational approach to logic which naturally provides a means to model realistic resource-bounded agents.

Abstract
We argue for an informational view of logic according to which reasoning phenomena are conceived as operations performed by embodied and situated agents. We maintain that such a view allows us to account naturally for the emergence of non-classical logics, logical pluralism and logical dynamics. Further, we discuss in broad terms a promising informational approach to logic which naturally provides a means to model realistic resource-bounded agents.| File | Dimensione | Formato | |
