The article addresses the issue of isopoliteia in Hellenistic bilateral treaties, focusing on the dogmatic framing of the institution. It examines mutually granted citizenship between poleis such as Miletus and Heraclea, regulated by specific procedures, and distinguishes between actual and potential citizens. The article also analyzes the concept of “minor citizenship,” denying its existence in relation to the texts discussed.
