Let ๐‘… be a ring. In a previous paper [11] we found a new description for the category ๐Šโก(๐‘…-Proj); it is equivalent to the Verdier quotient ๐Šโก(๐‘…-Flat)/๐’ฎ, for some suitable ๐’ฎ โŠ‚๐Šโก(๐‘…-Flat). In this article we show that the quotient map from ๐Šโก(๐‘…-Flat) to ๐Šโก(๐‘…-Flat)/๐’ฎ always has a right adjoint. This gives a new, fully faithful embedding of ๐Šโก(๐‘…-Proj) into ๐Šโก(๐‘…-Flat). Its virtue is that it generalizes to nonaffine schemes.
