D3.2 provides an updated horizon-scanning assessment of developments in discourse and narratives relevant to extremism during the project period. Building on the initial 2016–2023 horizon-scanning report, it identifies emerging trends, shifts in public discourse and developments that may influence the evolution and spread of extremist narratives. The update helps ensure that the project’s understanding of the wider social and digital environment remains current and supports the interpretation of findings generated across subsequent work packages.
