The search for sustainable solutions to minimize the environmental impact has become a world priority as it is popular to know that most of today's energy sources are exhaustible first and also harmful to the terrestrial ecosystem. The electricity market in Brazil is growing roughly in the order of 4.5% per year, and in 2012 reached the consumption of 448.1 TWh. Between the years 2008 to 2012 the Brazilian population grew on average 1.5% pa, and the per capita consumption of electricity showed average growth of 4.7% pa in the same period. Knowing this information can minimize the investment required to meet the growing demand for electricity, focusing on reducing waste, whereas in a study of industries, businesses and the public sector, it was found that the waste rates reach 15% 30% and 45%, respectively [EPE, 2013]. In recent years, equipment designs and electrical systems has already been developed with the focus on energy efficiency, but efficiency alone does not guarantee the rational use of electricity. Abstract
The behavior of users and their equipment usage habits, today represent the most flexible variable to obtain energy savings. This variable is not being reduced, requires automation systems to compensate for the evil human behavior towards his planeta.O present study aims to evaluate the reduction in energy consumption by installing motion sensors| File | Dimensione | Formato | |
