Abstract

An important requirement for dynamic collaboration and semantic interoperability in open distributed systems is to minimize the effort needed for answering resource discovery queries by simultaneously guaranteeing the accuracy of the answers. In this paper, we propose query policies for dynamically configuring the matchmaker of a given node by taking into account the current workload of the peer as well as the requested degree of accuracy of the matching process embedded in the incoming request.
