A partire dal focus sul maschile violento : Tre tipi ideali nella prospettiva dell'uomo

This note aims to refocus attention on the theme “the violent masculine: understanding in order to prevent.” It will present the different perspectives offered in the four authors’ essays: after outlining their key elements, the essays will be placed in dialogue with one another, beginning with the double paradigm of masculine gender construction. From there, the discussion will highlight certain effects of male socialization. Finally, the note will attempt to sketch out three ideal types of gender-based violence from the perspective of the man who perpetrates it, showing how these conceptual abstractions encompass the elements emphasized by the four authors.
