Apuntes sobre leyes y tendencias contra el desperdicio alimentario: una perspectiva de Derecho comparado

The article analyses the issue of legal regulation of actions against food waste in a comparative perspective. With a particular focus on Europe and, more briefly, on Latin America, it reflects on the main trends that have shaped some relevant legislations, analysing laws that either sanction negative behaviours or encourage and reward positive actions. Finally, some concluding considerations will be developed on the possibilities of addressing the issue of food waste through access to the courts and enforcing a corresponding right in that forum.
