Prima dell’«addensarsi della bufera». Quattro interventi del Tribunale costituzionale spagnolo per riflettere sui diritti linguistici dei catalanofoni (o meglio dei castiglianofoni) nella CA catalana

This article analyses the question of the language in Spain and, in particolar, the content of the four recent judgments of the Spanish Constitutional Court relating to the right to use the Catalan language in different areas of associated live. The Court recognize that numerous rules approved in Cataluña – in which the primacy of Regional language seems to be affirmed – are simple instruments of affermative action directed to guarantee the use of the Minority language. This position of the TC is criticized because it runs counter to the “spirit” of the linguistic rights in Constitution.
