This article analyses the judgment of the Inter-American Court of Human Rights given in the case Trabajadores de la Hacienda Brasil Verde vs. Brasil relating to the prohibition of slavery or involuntary servitude. The Court, in the present case, recognize that Brazil has violeted art. 6 ICHR because it has not prevent the use of slave labor.
