Hilbert curves of quadric fibrations over curves and of scrolls over surfaces are studied with reference to their total reducibility over Q. The case of del Pezzo manifolds being discussed elsewhere, this completes the picture for polarized n-folds with unnormalized spectral value n-1.

Abstract
