Artificial Intelligence (AI) is profoundly reshaping Labour Law, raising significant regulatory and practical challenges. This paper examines the impact of AI on employment relationships, with a particular focus on employers’ decisionmaking and on employees’ task execution. After outlining the multi-level legal framework, the paper explores the risks and opportunities associated with algorithmic management, protection against discrimination, and occupational health and safety obligations. The discussion further delves into employees’ rights concerning AI implementation, investigating its implications for working tasks and professional training. The proposed approach advocates for a regulatory framework that harmonizes productivity gains with the protection of employees’ dignity and wellbeing in the AI era.
