Climate Change Impact on Agricultural Law – Legal Aspects of Food Security in Italy

There is awareness of the EoW issue and its fundamental importance for environmental protection and social solidarity. In the Italian context, Waste recovery and disincentives to landfill and raw disposal are carried out in harmony with European principles on priorities for waste management and the so-called ‘circular economy’. EoW disposal and recycling are affected by the different regulatory powers of the Italian regions, which creates quite a few interpretation problems before national courts and, in particular, the Italian Council of State.
