Hybrid Guide in the Study of Work: Temporal Framework in Work and Organizational Psychology

The present perspective paper discusses the use of time in theory and research in work and organizational psychology. Time has been a neglected topic in the study of work, although it is a promising lens for discussing and comprehending work phenomena. Therefore, the essay intends to introduce time-sensible approaches based on different perspectives in order to flourish time-sensible research methodologies. Authors of different fields have paid significant attention to the study of work reflecting the complexity of this field of study. Accordingly, the essay gives reasons for supporting the use of time in theory and practice, to combine different perspectives and trying to overcome the actual condition of work as an embroiled issue into divergent view-points.
