Il controllo "ex ante" sui trattati internazionali in Paesi oltre la tradizione giuridica occidentale (parte I)

The paper examines the diffusion of the ex ante constitutional review of international treaties – specifically in the countries of Central Eastern Europe which, to different extents, were satellites of the USSR, in its former Republics, in the countries of Africa and those of Latin America – with the aim to verify whether the exercise of the preliminary review of agreements, in the concerned countries, is influenced by their geopolitical collocation, their belonging to different regional organisations and their distinct economic policies and if, eventually, its introduction should be considered merely an example of abusive constitutional borrowing.
