Energie ed energia: un elemento complesso nella Deutsche Leichte Sprache e nel linguaggio facile italiano

The paper analyses linguistic simplification in German and Italian in the form that ideally has the highest degree of comprehensibility: Easy Language. The aim of the analysis is the theoretical and empirical comparison between Easy German and Easy Italian given the different situation regarding research, rules and practice in Germany and Italy. After a theoretical overview of the writing rules, the empirical analysis carried out mainly with Sketch Engine focuses on a corpus of texts centred on energy: we investigate which terms recur most frequently in the texts and consider their distribution in the corpus. A part of the analysis compares the translation from the original text with that in Easy language to check how the linguistic and conceptual complexity of the terms characterising the texts has been resolved.

L’articolo analizza la semplificazione linguistica in tedesco e in italiano nella forma che idealmente ha il più alto grado di comprensibilità: quella della lingua facile. Obiettivo dell’analisi è il confronto teorico ed empirico tra il tedesco facile e l’italiano facile, data la diversa situazione della ricerca, delle regole e della pratica in Germania e in Italia. Dopo una panoramica teorica sulle regole di scrittura, l’analisi empirica condotta principalmente con Sketch Engine si concentra su un corpus di testi incentrati sull’energia: si indaga su quali termini ricorrono più frequentemente nei testi e si considera la loro distribuzione nel corpus. Una parte dell’analisi confronta la traduzione dal testo originale con quella in linguaggio facile per verificare come è stata risolta la complessità linguistica e concettuale dei termini che caratterizzano i testi.
