The clandestine press of the French Resistance is a field of investigation of recognised importance. The genesis, logistical aspects, content and themes of the periodicals between 1940 and 1945 have been studied from a historical perspective. However, to date, this corpus of newspapers has not been analysed in the light of its main characteristic: the fact that it is a media. The discourse of the clandestine press is a form of mediation with a major impact on the constitution and organisation of civil and moral resistance. In this way, an approach to the discourse of this media and the socio-historical context in which it unfolds opens a new dialogue between language and history, enabling us to see how social actors, established knowledge and cultural and identity-related elements enter the composition of the discursive genres of the clandestine press of the French Resistance.
