The quality of the clinical learning environments is fundamental to ensure the achievement of the educational objectives related to the professional Internship of students enrolled in the Bachelor of Science in Nursing. To achieve this goal, it is essential to define the role, knowledge, skills and attitude to be possessed by preceptor who guide student learning in care settings, fostering connections between theoretical and practical learning. International studies support the use of this didactic methodology to train/develop not only the technical skills but also those soft skills that are essential to exercise the tutorship by the preceptor. The objective of this project is to create and validate three simulation scenarios in order to propose a tool to be integrated within the training courses for preceptor. Scenarios have been developed to train, in a protected setting, clinical nurses in improving their skills of Immediacy, Empathy and Coaching considered fundamental skills both in literature and by the expectations of a sample of Bachelor of Science in Nursing students. To achieve the objective, three simulation scenarios were created based on guidance from the International Nursing Association for Clinical Simulation (INACSL); subsequently, the Simulation Scenarios were subjected to: Constructor Validity, Fidelity, Content Validity. The use of the Lynn’s Model showed expert panel agreement with a score of 0.89 on the content validity of the three scenarios with respect to coaching internship assistants in immediacy, empathy, and coaching. The three scenarios also garnered substantial favorable opinions from trainers for costructor validity and from scenario participants as of fidelity.
