Agricultural changes affects landscape and environmental quality of farming system and rural development. It concerns welfare and identity of communities, land use, design of built environment as well as natural environment and cultural heritage. The paper introduces the results of an interdisciplinary approach applied in Northern Italy, as simplified approach to measure sustainability of required agricultural changes on land and farm.
