Le misure di compensazione in relazione alle aree rientranti nella rete Natura 2000

The paper analyzes the administrative proceedings concerning the assessment of implications possibly affecting an area included in Natura 2000 network as a consequence of a proposed project. In case of a negative assessment, in the absence of alternative solutions, a project should be authorized if aimed at pursuing an overriding public interest, including those of social or economic nature. In this case the Public authority shall take the compensatory measures necessary to ensure the overall coherence of Natura 2000 network.
