The critical role of continuous professional development in equipping educators with the knowledge, skills, and confidence to effectively use didactic games and origami activities in mathematics instruction is discussed. The data collected prove the effectiveness of the training intervention showing that, through targeted training programmes, teachers can learn to select, adapt, and integrate appropriate games and origami activities that are in line with the curriculum objectives and respond to different learning styles.
