After that, the question of how many rolls can be reconstructed is also presented, basing both on the text and the palaeography but also on the possible use of the papyrus. Therefore, we will consider a possible relationship recto/verso of the dramatic text and a hypothetical reconstruction of the roll(s). P.EES inv. 89B/29-33 maybe originated as a manuscript made for a chorus, maybe for a chorus master and/or musician. The collected data suggest that the papyrus was intended to be stored in some technitai’s archive.

Abstract
The article aims at giving a general overview and a most detailed description of the largest fragments of P.EES inv. 89B/29-33. This papyrus is one of the few Hellenistic musical papyri, which Martin West divided into three groups of texts (A-B-C). Because of a more detailed palaeographic analysis, it will be proven the necessity to divide group C into two further groups. Secondly, the analysis of the ductus will prove that the same scribe is at work. It will be also described the graphic behaviour of the scribe and the devices (vacat and paragraphoi) in relation to metrical phenomena. The collected data suggest that the papyrus was intended to be stored in some technitai’s archive.Pubblicazioni consigliate
